YOUR OUTDOOR CONNECTION

Design is a function of connection. The design process facilitates this to achieve balance and continuity throughout a landscape. Design balances seasonal changes, natural elements, plant textures, style preferences, lifestyles - all into one cohesive element. Thoughtful design connects you.

DESIGN PROCESS

1 / SITE ANALYSIS

Thorough analysis of existing conditions and environmental constraints to create a 2D base map to scale. This kicks off our creative process and becomes our drawing board for the project.

2 / CONCEPTS

Conceptual drawings focusing on the function of the space are presented at plan view (bird's eye view). We will share options for the overall layout of desired elements and discuss how the options meet the overall goals.

3 / COLLABORATION

Client feedback is incorporated to create a detailed master plan with plant selections, materials list, and featured elements. Printed collages or mood-boards will be presented for plant and material selections.

4 / MASTER PLAN

The design process concludes with a printed 2D Master Landscape Plan, 3D Renderings, Materials List with approximate quantities, Plant List with recommended container size for planting, and an estimate for installation from a third-party (if desired in scope).

FAQ'S

We are available for a call, text, or email but hope sharing commonly asked questions is helpful with your decision-making.

How much is a typical landscape design plan?

The minimum investment of a full landscape plan highly depends on the scope of work, complexity of the terrain and size of the overall project. Typically, the minimum investment starts at $2,200. An estimate for design work based on anticipated hours of investment will be sent after the initial consultation.

How long will the process take?

The full design process generally takes between 6-8 weeks. This greatly depends on the timeliness of client feedback, weather, school closures, and overall scope of the project.

When can we start the design process?

We usually have a 4-8 week lead time. This varies significantly with seasonal changes and demand. It is also important to note that most quality installers have a 6-8 week lead time, if not more. Good design and workmanship take time.

Will you install my design?

We are not currently offering installation and build services. We have a trusted list of contractors and professionals we recommend working with.
